    Re: Gas hob question

Year im not sure of as they change monthly.. but current would be a isolation valve to isolate the hob on its own which is accessible without any tools having to be used.

Anything above the burners must be 760mm unless manufacturer states otherwise and that would mean that the hob manufacturer and extractor would need to have the same measurements. if there is only the instructions for the hood then its 760mm same if only installation instructions for hob and none for hood. so realistically it should be 760mm as nobody ever has both to match.

Room should have outside door or openable window and if no outside door then normally a NON closable vent is required.

    Re: Gas hob question

    Not to current standards.

No implication for landlord unless it can be proven that when it was installed the relevant requirements was not made.

There is another point is that the installer should NOT have installed which would have given your parents the chance to return a brand new cooker for an electric one. there is a case to answer there.

    Hi
I was ISDAL’s policy that accounts was contra’d which means that any money that they claimed was owed was removed from the payment cheque.

the administrators said that they could not confirm what parts had been delivered or ordered as I have also asked for a full breakdown,They havent responded since that information was requested.

    Well..

As this is one of the original genuine AMANA fridge freezers then it is a very good unit and well worth the £99 if you are near enough to collect it and its working. All the controls are mechanical and far more reliable.

    What a massive overeaction!

    Sorry Jane

But the UK has now become a litigation minefield and due to the masses of where there’s blame then there’s a claim ambulance chasers who will try to get you for any amount they can.. Then we have to protect ourselves concerning this.

The new jets will not also tell you which ones go where.

There is also a legal point that unless you are gas safe registered then you cannot work on gas. There was a simple way round this which I did offer.

Re: LPG jets for Rosieres 4040dbf

    Hi Jane

If you ask your registered gas safe installer to e-mail me his registration number and ID card number.

If he is LPG and cooker authorised then I will forward the relevant details to his companies registered e-mail address.
