    Re: Beko oven electrical connection

    Hi

This oven is installed using a standard 13amp plug and plugged into your normal ring main. You do not need a dedicated cooker/plug socket. The appliance cannot use all of the functions at the same time..Only one can be used which is why it should be fitted with standard 2.5 round cable and not grey flat cable.

Re: RSA1WTMH Samsung ambient question ?

Turned out to be a faulty fridge sensor

Then this would have shown up during the test mode.

Re: Carbon brushes genuine or copy

    Hi

If they have just gone then put genuine ones back in. That way you have a better chance that they will last longer and at the end of the day split the cost of the genuine ones over 10yrs and it works out at pence’s a year.

    Hi

Check your waste pipe as it should be above the waste water point..i.e. goes up and then back down like an upside down horse shoe to stop the syphoning.

    Hi Alan

If you did do this and supply your customers details ect the ICO would be on you like a ton of bricks and you would be losing more than you gained financially. Hopefully you are registered with the ICO ?.

Re: Mercury RC1090 weekday oven door seal

    Hi Daniel

It is not just sourcing the profile to which I have done and the cost is expensive per metre when I only buy 20-30 metres compared to companies purchasing 500-2000 the price reduces. Then there is the time that it takes to physically make them as the cost of having them made in a factory is not viable. Then there is the customers who do not return the old metal clips which mean that the option to make them in a batch ends.
Then there is my time that I spend tracing parts and paying money out so that Mercury customers can keep their cooker.
I can show a few manufacturers who charge more for there bulk purchased seals.
If you can find a supplier then you have the option to purchase there. to which I have searched the UK for a supplier previously.

Have a look at this Miele on eBay item : 361835943532 £152
    baumatic: 251592320327 £27
    whirlpool : 481946818109 £42

But as you feel that its right for you then there will be no seal available to you.
