KeymasterOn Stop
We have had JTM on stop for a number of months now due to payment irregularities. Thek keep trying to pass us bits of gas work they cant get coverage for. Still chasing payments and they come up with every excuse under the sun not to pay you. The favorite being they have never received your invoice even though you have sent it a number of times. Fell out big style with the “lady” with attitude in accounts the other day. I would advise everyone to stay well clear if they can. Also what out for alledged recalls. Months later they send you new jobs through authorising payments as nothing to do with previous job, then thefirst visity start rejecting invoices and denying they authorised. Ted warned people about his feelings years ago, afraid to admit it but he was right. Clever old git. Must be his many years of experience

KeymasterThese clauses are written to provide protection to the work provider but are not enforceable when the work provider releases a contract on its own and for reasons that are its own.MFI is an example where the provider gave notice to MFI and the provider is threatening to sue if any of the independents they use do the MFI work directly.Obviously the case revolves around the provider giving up the work and the provider can not enforce such restrictive practice on independent companies.If however the situation was driven the opposite way ie MFI leaving the provider the clause would come into effect to protect the provider.
Common sense has to prevail and the provider really does not want to lose his network because he starts to sue all who work for him….. 8)

KeymasterOUTSTANDING MONIES
A time to think??????
When you agree to be paid once payment has been received by the work provider,you are extending you’re cash flow to everyone else.Once you are dependent on incoming monthly chq’s to stay afloat you’re doomed.
You have to rely on work providers paying for the services received on time.When percentages start arriving followed by a top up a week or so later it does not instill confidence.In some cases,as with this example, quite a few years ago all members of a network agreed to forego a £0.50 raise per call and that money was to be used to finance the borrowing of £2,000,000 to allow all members to be paid in advance of the work originator paying the work provider.Sounds great but it does not work as the company involved obviously do not have the fund still available….but they retained the £0.50 from every job.Everyone has to draw their own conclusions but most of us have at sometime been hard up,strapped for cash and had to rely on a helping hand from the bank to help us out.Well the banks have a habit on calling in the debt if not repaid,and whilst percentages of monies owed are paid you have to sit back and examine the liability to your own company.
I did and resigned you have to do your own thing.When enough resign the coverage starts to slip and the cracks appear,one side falls out with the other.
The work provider needs to start working with repairers not threatening to sue them over their own failings.A lesson all will have to learn if they want the respect of members of this group

Its clear that no-one wants to mention the following;
There is clearly a tie up between Servis and GBdar, it starts and stops at the top.The real story must be known by a few but never spoken of,we here the rumours and those in the know earn their coin elsewhere.

Everyone at the end of the day has a choice to make,to be a part of the tide that is going to turn Dasa on its head or to sit on the beach and enjoy the sunshine.However every member of whitegoods forum/Dasa wants to play it, is up to the individual,but rest assured this is NETWORK-DASA,being formed under the Dasa banner to promote continuity in standard of service, adherance to quality standards set by Dasa and to which all Dasa members subscribe.
You can join Dasa or not,the choice is yours but I would ask that you come and chat to myself and others involved before you decide,we are open to debate and all are invited to attend the open forum.If you can’t attend there are several E mail addresses to which you could send a question………… Over to you this is what it is all about …DISCUSSION

Tonight I have supplied Technical info to a member of this Group,and although I know him I have never assessed his ability or otherwise,I never felt I should need to !
So where do I stand should a situation develop which could be attributed to my helpfulness?
