    Hi Jim,
you could just get a board from EMW and try it.

    Hi Dopper,
it could be this part LUX8996619267611 located in top of oven behind controls.I had one not so long ago. It’s like a thermal cutout.

    Hi Kez,

is there not a thermal cut-out situated somewhere at the back or side of the oven? Could be faulty.

    Hi Guys,

just to add to my original post, when the oven and fan started up, there was what sounded like a relay clicking on and off on the PCB at the back of the oven.

    Hi adv,
I know what you’re talking about, but this is not like the AEG.
Any one else got an answer for this one?

The e-mail was a bit vague and he could not give any details of the source of the work ie brand/manufacturer.

    Hi Guys,

thanks for the replies. I am aware of the guarantee on the machine and have informed the customer. She is quite old and always calls on me first if she has a problem. I suspect there could be build up of gunge on the plate mentioned as she nearly always does the 15 minute quick wash which I think is 30 degrees. Condenser valve is working ok, and the pump.
