Knew it began with an L.

As for Trigger, I can never work him out!

I assume someone will be giving Nominet the nod.

    Just a thought.

What was the name of Adrian’s IT Guru he brought along to the UKW Conference at Coventry? Skinny guy in jeans, had gingerish hair

I’ve tried to look up the results of the meeting and a list of attendees.

I’m wondering if the connection with talkappliance may be closer than we think.

    Re: Our Adrian

His foray with Lux was fun.

He was promised a service bonus for helping out. They called it a reward for services rendered. When it came to the pay-out they refused telling him there was no service and he simply failed to provide.

Mainly because he poured his heart out in public, and that was why I posted in here regards SF Wales.

What he told you guys & Del in Sibson was total boll*** If after all things were remotely as he claimed, I wouldn’t still be here.

He was out of his depth, and blamed everyone but himself. I blame myself as I pointed Lux in his direction in the beginning.

    Quite simply he blew it!

    Re: Our Adrian

    Thank God for that.

I bet DC rabbited on about loads of unrelated rubbish as per normal.

Problem is, they are all in their own little worlds, and knows naff all about the outside world.

The fact they don’t even read their own forum speaks volumes. I’m well pissed off with DC as he didn’t have clue what I was trying to get across re FME.com and he is the PAID administrator.

Going back to Ade, he is sick in the mind.

When he was offered the Service Force work he dropped them like a stone, and lost Beko as well as a hunge chunk of D&G at the same time. He needs to grow up.

Just out of interest how does a guest get in here? Users browsing this forum: Alex and 1 guest.

    Back on topic.

At the April meeting to which I didn’t attend the action points for the June meeting included adding new members, and FME.Com as associate. This only came to light on the DASA forums Friday last week.

Both myself & Dave Pannel jumped on this, but typical bloody DASA nobody reads the forums.

I phoned Dave Coombes Monday, and I was quite angry about it and pointed out his role was to administrate, and that includes reading the forum. I don’t think he got it, as he wittered on about something to do with training.

I’m not at the meeting tomorrow, and only Dave Pannel can see the light, and he is looked upon as an old fool.

I’m at the point of giving up, and if they take Ade on board I will move on.

He’ll only come in the back door as someone else.

    Also from Ken’s post

Don’t be surprised if he reapplies for DASA as well as, to be listed on his own website (which he is) he has to be a trade association member (which he’s not) so he needs to be in one of them really.

He already has and wants associate membership, to which I’m jumping up & down. Problem is Dave Coombes can’t figure the problem, and although there is traffic on the DASA forum we don’t want him, DC never reads the bloody forums.

Add to that Jason is a member of Ade’s little scam & cannot see the harm in it.

Seems like one of the above has endorsed this on the Repaircare talk pages as well.

I checked his UKW Profile last Friday 15 June, and he hadn’t visited since 31st March.

He has since crawled out of his hole….

    Question.

Where do the D&G current network agents come into this, especially those who don’t do work for Connect?

They won’t be happy I suspect.

    Re: Trade Secrets?

Martin, from your experience as a former moderator surely this would have been a job for one such qualified/experienced in these matters.

Therefore I daresay that would limit the list of suspects?

    Stupid question coming now…..

Would I be right is presuming you had requested from above internal means on how & why this came about, then failed to get the required answer? I could’t imagine that you would just post your concerns without prior investigation and a justifiable reason as to why this was placed in the public domain.

    Re: D&G

We in Service Force land have had this pushed upon us for some time now.

OK on Lux goods as the engineers have lap-tops, but they still have to phone the office for all prices as there are so many variations and typical of an engineer will not add sundries etc. Also they don’t know the charges in regards to whether gas, a range cooker etc.

With obscure makes, much about the same thing, they phone the office, get the prices etc & then call D&G with the breakdown of cost.

PIA but we live with it.

Good point. There is no reason why that message could not give out an alternative number, even if a mobile.

I will be keeping an eye on the rumour mill as well…..

    Re: smeg/servast

Yes, webpage not operating. I sent an e-mail Friday to several recipients at Servevast and nothing heard.

Also I’ve had a couple of customers complaining they called to arrange a service call & not heard from us. Of course if the web-site is down then the calls won’t get through.

Hope they (Servevast) haven’t gone tits-up as I recently paid them for parts.

Probably just a glitch, but I tend to get nervous these days.

Update: Just phoned this number 0844 815 0701 as well as 0870 444 7083 and had a recorded message they had technical issues.
