Thanks, but what does that mean!?
andy_48
ParticipantThis is what I read:
C01 ALL LIGHTS ON
C02 ? PUMP 000 (FLASHING)
C03 DRUM ANTI CLOCKWISE – – –
C04 COOLING FAN – – –
C05 DRUM CLOCKWISE 033 OR 034
C06 ? COMPRESSOR 041 OR 042
C07 ? 000 (FLASHING) THEN 111
C08 ? 000 (FLASHING) THEN 111
C09 ? 000 (FLASHING)
C10 ? E83Can anyone explain any of this, please? If E83 is an error code, I can’t find any mention of it.

Thanks. The anti-crease button didn’t work but the Start+Refresh buttons did! (I suppose the Refresh button is the nearest).
Now I’ve got to work out how to interpret the codes!

ParticipantThanks, Dave. I’ll have to wait until the current programme ends or SWMBO will not be happy!
However, on this model there isn’t really a closest button like on older models. I’ve attached a photo (not a very good one) to seek further guidance.

ParticipantInterestingly, I subsequently discovered a small fatberg almost completely blocking (but not quite) the outside drain into which the DW drains the waste water. I’m no expert but I suspect this would also cause the i30 error in the “Drainage problem” category.

ParticipantI took it apart and put it back together again and it now seems to be running OK – now with HOT water! Definitely the heating element needed changing and probably the anti-flood sensor not quite sitting properly the first time I reassembled it.
Anyway, thanks to Dave & Andyjawa for your very valuable help.

ParticipantMany thanks. I’ll start investigating!

ParticipantOK. I changed the heating element and put it back together. Fiddly but seemed successful.
Now, when I start the dishwasher, the outlet pump does its initial run and when it’s done its bit I get the alarm code “i30 – The anti-flood device is on”. It’s clearly not leaking so I took off the polystyrene float just in case it was sticking but I’m still getting i30.
What should I look at next, please?

ParticipantBrilliant, thanks Dave.
I’ve got it off and mine does look exactly like that.
Like a prize idiot I’ve quoted the wrong model number – it should be F65610IM0P – so that is the correct part.
Thanks again

ParticipantRe: AEG F65040IM0P ProClean Error code .00
This fault has developed slightly (or maybe I just didn’t spot the extra error earlier).
When first starting the cycle:
– the pump starts for a few seconds and stops
– then error .40 flashes for a couple of seconds
– then error .00 flashes. If I turn the DW off and on again, the cycle starts and runs without issue. This is only a minor inconvenience (and is why I haven’t tried to fix it yet).
I’ve tried changing the socket so I don’t think it’s a voltage issue.

OK. Many thanks.

Thanks, Dave
How can I determine which is more likely?

ParticipantRe: Cooker hood filters stuck
Thanks, Brian. I’ve tried to twist them but they won’t budge.

ParticipantRe: AEG spray arm alarm but can’t diagnose
No replies – which is not surprising but a bit depressing! I can’t spend my life waiting by the dishwasher every night to open & close the door every time it beeps! If I can’t solve this I’ll have no choice but to buy a new machine.
One thought – can anyone tell me how to identify and disconnect the spray arm sensor or alarm? That might give the machine a reprieve from the scrapheap!
