    Re: Online training / info

If there is any training( soap or anything else related etc ) going on in South West Wales ( I doubt it as we are in back and beyond )

    Please lets us know.

Could probably rustle up 4-5 people.

    many thanks

Re: wma pressure switch / service test problems

    FIXED…. happy, happy

managed to borrow new board form local hotpoint engineer…

    still the same.

i played with the wiring loom that goes from front panel to motor area etc

suddenly lost drum movement but still had spin?

took off motor plugs & refitted, drum now working ok,

after 3 assembles & deassembles problem is cured..

    loose wiring somewhere.. but where?

    anyway it works… for now

Re: wma pressure switch / service test problems

red/green as stated in manual is actually brown/green on machine.

doubled checked wiring all ok, crud in chamber ok, new drum 2 months ago but checked anyway.

Pressure switch is operating and feed pipe is pressurized, when you take pipe off, you can hear the pressure switch reset.

If you put machine on a cycle , it fills up too much then pre wash light flashes & machine stops, fault code says , machine failed to fill.

and you still cannot get the function test to work, just heater relay clicks.

my assumption is pressure switch is working but front panel does no get the message.

suggest new font panel, are they big bucks etc.

    many thanks

Re: wma pressure switch / service test problems

water pumps out fast when put into component test mode or onto a spin mode.

When you try to put the machine into service test mode, the relay clicks but no actions.

I think the problem is the electronic side of the pressure switch.
The switch operates with a click if you blow into etc.

The main board does not appear to be getting any signals back from the switch. wiring ?

    Any ideas.

    many thanks

Re: wma 33 door seal, soap damage!!

    @iadom
    you are spot on.

One member of family using creams etc for skin condition.

Very soft water area, welsh valleys!!( no sheep shagging jokes now.. i am not welsh, i just live here, love them really)

had new half drum 3 months ago, seal was new then.

powder leaves white marks in creases etc on black or dark clothes.

is it the lack of bleach etc or liquid / powder situation or short wash problem.

for the record what tabs & conditioner are you recomending.

has anybody spoken to Hotpoint about this.

I am getting grief that i haven’t fixed Machine probably etc

give me a broken door switch or blocked pump anyday.

    thanks in advance

Re: wma 33 problem & manual

i stripped and rebuilt pressure switch and think it is working ok, but..

as i am so conscientious i thought ok, i’ll change it to make sure.

Ordered via model number wma33ys via wash-vac online.

their part number was wvs032773 original part number inside 1604008

this switch is totally different in style & shape to original and manual part numbers..

is this a modificcation ( see @ sully post)? and do i need any other parts for the mod?

    any ideas,

    many thanks in advance..

Re: wma 33 problem & manual

I have read the manual from back to front, twice!
I am now the Oricle of all information regarding the WMA 33 ( not )

    My question is :-

The instruction / user guide says That the machine has an auto half load, that auto detects light loads and only uses half the water etc.

    How is this done?

Nothing is mention in the service manual etc

    all the best
