    Okay, I`ll give you No.9

but 10? I`ve not had a VAT inspection in 16years

    11. You still have to keep your paperwork for the Income Tax

One out of 12 is not bad.

Re: You must be CORGI registered to work on gas!!!

I don`t think this thread is about slagging Corgi registered engineers, or any other engineers for that matter but I do think it has proven the absolute confusion between what we as corgi registered / or not can or cannot do.

My opinion is that Corgi don`t know what they are doing and as such neither does the HSE. But it has to be clarified, and clarified sooner rather than later. This should be a priority for the WTA council.

Well it`s worked twice so far with no hassle. Most of the Corgi registered people in this area are plumbers and won`t attempt a repair on an appliance. When you live in a small town it`s not that difficult. I`ve had it done with joiners and built in appliances as well.

So which one do you want me to pull now????? 😉 😉

Re: You must be CORGI registered to work on gas!!!

The last 2 jobs I`ve done I have told the customer to have the appliance disconnected by a Corgi registered fitter on the morning of the call and have him come back later on in the day to reconnect it. I meanwhile nip in in the meantime, replace the part and nip out.

Surely I`m covering my @rse now???

But had someone been in before you??

Were the 3 wires on the stat seperate? are they all singles? and is one going to the pilot light?

    Re: stoves 050561029

The oven fan is normally switched on with the function switch and not with the stat. It seems like the wiring has got mixed up somehow. I would trace the wiring back from the fan and see where the supply is coming from. It shouldn`t be coming throught the stat. If anyone has a wiring diagram for this model it would help.

When you say main fan, are you meaning the circulation fan in the oven or the cooling fan?

I`ve just found they are saying that DC97-00215A is an alternative for the above…. but still no pictures I`m afraid.

    Re: Samsung P1253

It would seem that the part number you require is DC97-00215B but it is showing up as obsolete.

There is no exploded diagrams I can find but it is described as tub front in the parts list for that model.
