    Check the motor plug. Just had one burnt and took the PCB with it. Did blow tracks bur difficult to see as it wasn’t a big black burn.

    Isn’t one of the stipulations of getting Amica work that you must be a member of WTA, DASA or Retra?

    I think the best we could do is offer guidance if any agents feel aggrieved enough to want to take it further. We certainly don’t have much clout with repaircare unless they are worried about not being invited to future meetings, but I doubt it.
    I suppose it also depends how many members are affected and if they wanted to get together but most people will just take it on the chin and move on I would think.

    I use a 13mm socket on an extension bar and ratchet handle. Out socket over pulley, force ratchet handle down and turn and the belt slips on.

    I might take up some of this advice.

    I was just wondering yesterday how to waste some time and now I know. Let’s chap the door and have a look without a toolbox and then go back and get it and at least then the customer will think “he forgot his bloody toolbox, they’ve sent a right one here” 😀
