    Re: Sending Back Invoices

    But how can I?

If I raise an invoice now that I have received payment, as instructed, the computer will date it today and raise it with 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} VAT.

What is going to happen is I will raise an invoice which will be £48.96 plus £9.79 VAT instead of £50 plus £8.75 VAT.

Now £1.04 is niether here nor there (unless you have done a load of repairs) , but the invoice is not going to agree with Amica’s self billing one.

    Re: Sending Back Invoices

    I don’t get it…

I just received a payment from Amica. The payment includes 17.5 {e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} VAT and if I now raise an invoice it puts 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} VAT on.

How do we get round this?

    Re: This….

I think you’re right Lawrence, either that or he is just up for an argument which he is not doing very well at winning.

He writes before his brain is engaged and this has just been proven by his statement about a WTA Chairman being employed.

… But yes, let him put any points to the committee in writing then we can publish them while ripping them apart, but, if you expect that to shut him up then I doubt it.

I’d love to take him up on his offer of travelling the country at his own expense to vet members.. 😀

    Re: DrDill’s Latest Bashing Thread

Having read this thread, and the others that DrDill has posted in, I would like to make my point.

DrDill has said “I like what the WTA are trying to do but I am not willing to join at the moment” or words along that line.

Now, there are people in this world who are pro-active and people who are re-active.

My opinion is that the current members are pro-active in that they are willing to join an association and pay their subscription to make the trade better, more organised and more recognised by government bodies and the general public.

DrDill, you strike me as re-active. A person who will sit on the by-line and wait until all the hard work is done and when the benefits start rolling in you will want to jump on the band wagon and reap what benefits you can.

If you want the trade to be better in the way you desire, why not join the WTA now and have an input into the direction it goes?

I am going to tell you where I stand…

I find that post very patronising. Are you suggesting that only 3 people of the WTA council are capable of responsding and that there is a discussion going on between the 3 members mentioned that the rest of us are not privvy to?

Does this statement also apply to DrDill?.

I for one would like to ask DrDill a few questions but at this moment I am wondering if I have to wait for permission?

Sorry if this sounds blunt but it is the way it is coming across.
