Just had a call from a restaurant that always argues about hourly charge rates. Need an urgent call to attend to something not working.
Last time they argued about the hourly rate, I said ‘okay how about I bring friends & family in for a meal, then argue about how much the bill is ……..’ 😈
They then agreed thst I was being fair with my charges.
Why is it we are so undervalued for what we do? 🙄

I get a number of enquiries. Some of the very cheap makes I will not do.
I think it is worthwhile to add to Repairs@.

Re: Fan does not come on Neff Double oven
More than likely the fan has failed. Do not continue use the element as you will burn it out.
You can get pricing by looking at the spares@ module.
If you do not have have the appropriate test gear or experience, please contact an engineer through the repairs@ module.
Remember to power-off the oven &/or disconnect before carrying out any work. :zap:

Thank you. I suspected that had to do with the spider. Didn’t think it would rot.
Do you know if parts are still available or is it beyond it?

The problem is that the drum has come loose. I sold this many years ago. Went to look at this only to find that the cupboards have been built round the machine – so I can’t get the machine out – waiting for kitchen fitter to come & dismantle cupboard so that I can get access – any clues as to what I might find wrong inside?

I have also had problems – I gave up & still use the CD. I sometimes use it to check stock status though.

Likely to be the fan oven element.
Make sure you switch power off before working on it :zap: .
I’m sure that the element will be available through this web-site.
Failing that, use the Repairs@ module to find a local engineer who should be able to carry out repairs.

If the elements test ok, check the cooker control unit on the wall & the cooker outlet plate (if fitted). I have had insulation problems with cheap makes.

Because of the ‘ugly’ costs, I thought I would try to check a drawing before I ordered parts.

I know the minimum order charge went up.
