That’s great, thanks so much for the info. We’ll sort those checks out tomorrow.

    All the best, Camilla.

    Re: Replacing Hotpoint bearings

Iadom and Twoten – thank you for getting back so quickly.

Yes – is the answer to the final spin question of making noise only for about 4 washes and thought it was just a coin etc that has got lodged somewhere.

I will call the Indesit repair people and see what the damage is going to be.

Thank you again for all your help.

    Re: Replacing Hotpoint bearings

    Hi everyone

Just thought i would tag my question on the back of this thread as we have the same model washing machine WMT03 – 01120395. I can safely assume that it will not be covered by any warranty.

My question is the drum has stopped spinning altogether. It may do half a cycle/turn but then cannot turn anymore. (If turned by hand or on a cycle)

Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be? Can this be repaired and if so is it worth it?

If not what advice does anyone have on a replacement? (Broad question I know)

    Kind regards,

    Camilla

Re: Help please! Whole door fallen off 🙁

Thank you so much! Amazing! We couldn’t work out how it worked, and so how to fix it, because the lock had actually stuck inside the rest of the mechanism, so wouldn’t fit back into the hole because the angle was all wrong. One video, some insight, a lot of WD40 and a hammer and we are totally good to go. 😀

And out of sheer frustration, the inside of the oven is now spotless.

Can’t thank you enough, especially for such a quick response at such a late hour,

    Camilla.

p.s. merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
