    Thanks Greg. I think it was the ball its-self that was the foreign object. Not sure why it was loose underneath the drum, but I’ll get it back into the bulge.

    OK I got it. Once you get all the bits and pieces off and the screws etc, not too bad.
    I’ve tested the element and not a dicky bird on the curcuit tester, so I guess I’m off to the shop@.

    OK guys, I’m stumped, how do I get to the heating element? Front or back? ‘cos I can’t see it? If it’s from the front, can you tell me the easiest way to disasemble it?. Thanks, Charlie

    Thanks Gegsy, My curcuit tester has gone AWOL somewhere in my shed or someone elses!. I’l borrow one from work on Monday.
    Thanks for all your excellent help on the Forum. I’ll let you know how it turns out for future ref.

    the Model number is :
    WFO 2860GB/01 FD 8201 700713
    Also Type MB12 on the back else all are the same front and back.

    Thanks, the pump is fine. no wobbles. Pump is more or less empty when I open it. Why would that mess up the cycle?
