If Servisweee are continuing to collect WEEE then someone better tell the 5 new customers we have just picked up on the east coast of yorkshire.These guys havent had a collection for weeeks.One customer has 200+ machines at the rear of his premises.We will be clearing them all over the next few days.Anymore?

This is because the scrap merchants were buying at high prices as the chinese were buying at top dollar.it will drop again before the end of the month as the commoditys markets fall and the scrap men have tons of unsold scrap purchased at high prices.

We had 20 machines taken from our yard last week.Every day we have to turn away the pikeys who seem to think that all scrap thats on the floor is theirs.Its about time the EA did something about it.Funny enough though they didnt take any of the 100 fridge freezers we had in the yard.

Scrap metal merchants have a waste management licence and have to record there input and output of WEEE….The excemption that Dales electronic is referring to is Paragraph 49.This allows you to store but NOT treat WEEE at your premises.If you treat WEEE (ie repair) you will need to register under paragraph 50 and keep records of your waste and what you refurbish….HTH.

How many of you guys who “scrap” there own machines use a waste transfer note when taking your scrap to your local metal merchants?How many of you have scrap refrigeration on there premises?

Sounds to me its short of gas hence only 2 bars getting warm or there is a system blockage.

We have just applied for pata 49.its 495.00 and you must keep proper records.We collect WEEE from small retailers to refurb anything thats hazardous must be on a consignment note and anything else on a waste transfer note.If you require any more info call me on 07989323870.
