Re: Whirlpool adpw2 – wet but dry!!

Check that the double connector that supplies water to the top spray arm
has not come out of the filter, this has been a problem, and the part is only a few quid.

Only one valve fitted to this machine so it can’t fill with hot and cold at the same time. Normally cold fill only.

Re: Whirlpool adg6340 four flases but not blocked..

Sounds like the diaphram switch is blocked. this can be verified by removing the filters and looking in the sump. the switch is located on the right hand side and is usually black. When it is blocked there is normally white gunge in the switch. I have managed to free one by using a spray bottle, keep spraying until the gunge has been cleared.
    Hope this help

Had this recently and it was caused by the drain hose being too far down the stand pipe causing the water to syphon away. This in turn causes the FH error to flash up as there is now insufficient water in the tank.

Re: What’s the most illogical fault you’ve had to find?

A few years ago I was called out to an integrated dishwasher that would intermittantly switch off halfway through the program. I did all the usual checks insulation, continuity and visual, couldn’t find any fault.I had to remove the appliance from under the worktop to complete these checks. Put appliance through a full program, not a fault in sight, replaced appliance and left. Called back to customers as the fault was still there, only now it was stopping halfway through for an hour and then continuing to the end of the program. On further investigation it appeared that the appliance was touching the switch of the supply spur, which meant when it was heating, the back panel was expanding and switching off the power and as it was cooling down, contracting and switching the power back on again, problem solved

Re: diplomat dishwasher ADP 8322 INT(DISPENSER FAULT)

The usual problem on this model is the lugs on the cover holding the top spray arm feeder tube break causing the tube to disconnect and stop the water ciculating.
    Part number is: 481241818341
    hope this helps
