They must have covered a very large area as we have had a number of customers here in Reading who have also been affected by their demise,
Its the staff i feel sorry for, i know how hard it can be for everyone involved after it happened to Apple Electrics,Re: Reactive Insurance Solutions Ltd.
ask them to pay up front for the call out, and if it needs parts tell them they will have to pay upfront for those as well.

we use a contractor to do our installs he is only charging £30 per job but he does about 10-12 a day so he is earning better money than the engineers…

Money used to be good as it was always cheaper to repair than replace, its almost the other way around now.
Why pay someone £60.00 plus vat for an engineer when you can get a new washing machine for £150.00.

It a Haier, what part do you need as i have the manual and can give you the part number.

I know the company that the engineer who did this works for and he isn’t the only poor engineer they have on their books,
It brings it back to the age old conversation regarding regulating this industry, as there is no one to report these guys to they will just carry on being dangerous, anyone with a screwdriver and access to you tube can call themselves an appliance engineer 😡(steps down off his soapbox)
