ParticipantRe: Why “pull the plug” ?
I did think about posting it as a news article on the front page but I’m not sure that someone else’s misfortune should be used to get the message across especially as the guy is named, his family may well come across it.

ParticipantRe: Homark 01-700206B Microtemp and grill
Grill element genuine part number is 79X7945 but no picture of it or the oven. It doesn’t appear to cross ref to ELE2200 but it’s cheap anyway 😉
Nothing on the microtemp, it just shows two “limiters” which are normal cut-out type thermostats.
No wiring diagram either 🙁
141C seems very low for an oven, where is it situated ?

ParticipantRe: Sealed Tubs
Yep, part numbers:
C00094782 – £90.00
C00095889 – £111.14
C00113810 – £124.59
The Tricity Bendix one is buried in the forums, I’ll try and find it 😉

ParticipantRe: Tricity Sovereign 4638
You won’t get them unless one of the posters you have replied to is willing to part with their old cooker or parts of it I’m afraid 🙁
See if one of them comes up with something 😉

ParticipantRe: Indesit W103
There is also a version with a sealed tub that uses part number C00093345.
More info required please (was this shipped from the UK ?) 🙂

Is there no WM or WMI number on it Chris ?
I can’t find anything on that (what looks like a Caremark) model number 😕

ParticipantRe: Anguis in herba
Yeah, I’ve been watching him on and off all day, a bit of a “tinkerer” I think but at least he’s pushing the safety bit home.
We can’t stop public to public advice as it’s a public forum ATEOTD as long as the poster and reader are aware of the safety issues and realise the “advice” isn’t from a repairer 🙂

ParticipantRe: SMEG DWF66SS Error code 8
That one doesn’t come up very often 😉
E8 is a water distribution problem, where the water is diverted between the upper and lower baskets alternately, something has failed there.
Not a DIY job to be honest, try the repairs@ link below for an engineer to have a look at it for you 🙂

ParticipantRe: freezer working Fridge NOT, Diplomat APM 6842
From your description I would agree the compressor had failed.
Leave it overnight and see how it is in the morning, don’t keep opening the fridge door to check as it will take much longer to get cold 😉
