It’s a Servis in disguise (with diamonds )
Part number 526012100
MFI are the cheapest place for this one, around £12 ex VAT list 🙂
I’ve got one if you get stuck.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint CTD40 not working
Why not leave it for a few days to dry out ? 😉
Hopefully the moisture has not caused any lasting damage, it could have got on to the float switch, pump, control PCB or the motor, all are at the base of the appliance.
If that doesn’t work, I think you’ll need and engineer to be honest to rule out which one of the above is/is not at fault, check the repairs@ link below should the need arise 🙂

ParticipantRe: Zanussi nexus FL881 – smoke?
It could also be the drum bearings have failed and the front edge of the drum is rubbing on the door seal (drum dropped).
Also a fairly costly repair 🙁

ParticipantRe: hotpoint Mistral+ weird smell ❓
Your model uses R134A refigerant (not butane) unless the compressor has been changed from the original ?
The compressor fan should run when the compressor is on, you can see it throught the front grill normally, again it should be fine as the freezer wouldn’t get cold enough generally.

Recieved, thanks

ParticipantRe: hotpoint Mistral+ weird smell ❓
If there was a coolant leak it’s very unlikely to get cold at all to be honest, certainly not down to -22 anyway 🙂
It’s more likely the fan at the bottom/rear next to the compressor is blowing bacterial smells around especially as you disturbed the “mountain” of gunk underneath, I doubt it’s much to worry about.
An engineer’s visit would be able to tell for sure of course:)

If you order the 6.3uf, make a note in the message box about yours being a 6uf and I’ll send one of those instead, although a 6.3uf would be fine it’s on the edge of the tollerance level 🙂

ParticipantRe: Smeg DWF 44 SS.1 motor
Yep, that’s the one.
There is no sure way of testing them accurately without a capacitance meter to be honest, they are very reasonable though. Yours will have a value on it shown in uf, you can see them here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … Path=58_91
If you’re value isn’t shown, let me know and I can easily get one but I’ll need to know by tommorow lunchtime at the latest to get it to a UK address by Friday.
There is no guarantee that it will work of course but fingers crossed.
Don’t forget, power off when working on it :zap:

Yep, they just slot in 🙂
Make sure you order the right one though, there’s 2/3 versions for this model.

ParticipantRe: Indesit w123
When the knob rotates, the lamp (led) will flash in a sequence, if you count that between the pauses it indocates a fault code.
Once you done that, search for W123 in the forums
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ile=search
You’ll find the answer as every possible problem is already well documented for this model 😀
