    Re: ZANUSSI1640W E50

There is no E50 error code but this has come up before so it does get displayed but there’s no explanation for it 😕

Type E50 in to the search factility, there’s a bit about it but it seems to point toward a motor fault.

That’s why I asked for the full model number, to check the correct part number 😉

If you go to http://www.smeg-service.co.uk you can ask online (live chat) what the modification is 🙂

It sounds as if the capacitor has failed, you can get one here:

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … cts_id=315

Power off please :zap: when checking.

If you’re unsure, please check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂

    Re: zanussi oven knob

It’s part number 50232547005 which is the knob on the right which is the temp one I think.

The other knob is now obsolete.

It depends which version of A42 you have (there’s a few), if you check the rating plate around the door there should be some letters and/or numbers after A42 🙂

    Re: Freezer cold Fridge not

If it’s running constantly then a system failure is the likely cause I’m afraid, as long as it’s not the fan motor in the freezer you can hear.

An engineer calling is the only sure way of telling 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of course. Check the repairs@ link below 🙂

Trust you to send me to the dark and dingy world of Korean spare parts websites this time of the night :rotl:

Part number 3650ER3002A about £2.00 from SEME and double that from Connect 🙄

If you need a couple ordering let me know 🙂

You’ll get a reply in the morning either here or by email squadman 🙂

David Quinn is the best person to ask dquinn@ukwhitegoods.co.uk as he co-ordinates the training sessions, I’ve sent him an email pointing him to this post. 🙂

Sorry, for legal reasons we are unable to tell you exactly how to repair, only give general guidance. The pump will be found behind the plinth but please follow my advice above and ask an engineer to attend and check for you if you are at all unsure on how to proceed 🙂
