ISE has a completely different drum than those models plus the bearings are larger than standard 🙂

Have you tried the obvious of holding select then push + and – or just the + and – on their own ?
It may be the timer is faulty 😉

Odd, the fan element shouldn’t effect the grill element. Fan element is this one if you need it:

Possibly both the elements have failed ?
A continuity test is the easiest way to check them, I’m guessing you should have the required test equipment 😉
