That’s because you haven’t registered, you are showing as a guest. If you register, you should then be able to edit your own posts.
You won’t be able to edit the two above though, if you want to repost them under a registered user name, just copy them over and I’ll delete the originals.

The M25 is a pretty good car park I’ve heard, and safe as you’re still in the car !

Hi Jazzy.
It’s nice to see the realistic price range you are willing to pay for a reliable appliance, something sadly overlooked these days a lot of the time.
For that sort of money, I would sugggest a Miele, the G645 is AAA rated and should last you many years with little or no problems.
You can see the full details on their website here http://www.miele.co.uk

Joe, the references to The Clash has not gone unnoticed by those of us that remember them or even know who they are.
I asssume you’re career with them did/does not pay enough and appliance repairs had to be resorted to 😆

ParticipantRe: new machine, whats the Bosch WFO2466 like?
Yeah the Bosch Excell range are pretty much Ok generally.
It seems like your machines get a bit of a hammering Gary or have you just been unlucky ?

The words you used when you learned of the module’s repair state was unrepeatable I expect 😆
gary38 wrote:anyone want a indesit washing machine 2 years old ? all good except the module.
No ta, I have younger one’s than that, and they don’t work either 😉

ParticipantRe: Diplomat 8234 – questions and a specialist please
I can help with a company who will carry out a repair for you, they are Hubys Domestic Appliances.
Website for contact: http://www.hubys.com/
Don’t order a control board, they are in excess of £100 and it may not be that.
Call Hubys they should be able to sort it out for you. Ask for Jason and tell him I gave you the details 😉

ParticipantRe: broken whirlpool oven door
You won’t be able to buy a whole door I’m afraid.
What would you like assistance with ?

ParticipantRe: Checking hotplate temperature
Yep, I’d go along with that to be honest. Replace the rings, they only cost about a tenner each (if they are the solid plate type).
I wouldn’t have a clue what the surface temperature would/should be of a fully heated hotplate.
