Re: HELP !!! hygena diswasher apl8212

The door latching mechanism is broken/damaged more than likely.

Please ensure appliance is unplugged before attempting any repairs yourself, or uf you’re unsure call an engineer, it shouldn’t be too much of a job to be honest.

If you need help with an engineer, there’s loads here, just pop you’re postcode up.

    Regards.

    Re: Hoover AC110 hinge removel

    Hi Furhan.

You will need to drill the old rivets off, the new door hinge part number 97910194 comes with new rivets for refitting.

The part number I gave is the main pcb so don’t order it yet.

I would go with Bob though on this if he’s had a similar fault.

Is there a specific error code you’re after ?

There’s four pages of the bleedin’ things 😉

    Re: LG WD1045S

I just had a look at the wiring diagram and it looks as if it can be little else.

The exploded diagram is fairly poor to be honest, is the door lock a type with an integral solenoid that releases the door ? (I assume it is if it refuses to to allow the door to shut). It sounds like the pcb is permanently supplying power to it.

Part number for the main pcb is 6871EC1004N

    Hi.

If you phone MFI Extracare on 08457 959722 they should be able to supply you with a user manual.

Diplomat is an MFI owned brand name 😉

Please don’t include me in the “we”.

I neither have the time nor the inclination to do anything else for/with DASA.

Call me cynical or impatient or both, but this is going round in circles.

Critisism and lively debate creates a new positiveness, new positiveness creates a flurry of activity and general expectation, then fuck all happens.

I’m out of it and will not be renewing my membership or attending any further meetings.

Good luck DASA if it survives, I’ll come back and join, I’ve done my bit to try and help this time round, but it’s like trying to climb out of a bottomless pit IMO, and I can’t see any light.

Sanyo may well be looking for people to repair these if they kick off in a big way.

I doubt if their brown goods network will want to know somehow 😉

If anyone sees one out there, let us know please 😀

    Re: Subscribers spares deals

    Nedis eh ?

I can order from them for the benfit of subscribers if required, as I said in the trade spares forum the order has to be substantial.

The account has been open for some weeks now, all I need is some idea what everyone needs/wants.

I’ll check on the Servis modules and motors though, could you let me have the common part numbers please Kev ?

All other common parts they do, along with a lot of the German branded stuff as Martin mentioned.

    Re: ‘Nedis’ Pattern Spares

Nedis are an Italian spares wholesaler, not a brand as such.

They only sell in bulk with payment up front in general and a minimum of 750 euro order plus carriage is required for despatch.

I have had lengthy email conversations with them for the benefit of UKW and on first glance seem Ok, the website is a bit of a bugger to navigate though ;).

    No, here’s fine.

    a) What model this oven might be. There are no badges/logos/model names on the oven other than the Homark name.

    b) Where I might be able to get a user manual for this oven.

    And most importantly,

    c) What is causing the oven to operate at such an apparently high temperature, and suggest what the best course of action is to get the problem investigated and fixed.

The model will be on the top of the oven cavity I expect, it will mean sliding the oven out of the housing to find it.

Virtually impossible to get a user manual, but you never know, the model will be required.

The fault looks almost certainly to be the thermostat, a generic thermostat should fit, I would expect a repair bill in the region of £70 ish to complete the repair.

    Hope that helps.

    Dave.
