Chris, message from Bonzaco for you:
F-01 is a short circuit motor tacho.
The part number for the tacho is C00043430.

ParticipantRe: Spare parts website recommendations please
Keith, I have checked the diagram and even thought the door handle is shown, it does not have a part number so I can only assume that the door is supplied as a complete unit.
As with any Microwave repair, please take it to you’re local specialist as attempting this kind of repair without the correct test equipment places you at a very high risk of microwave radiation exposure.

Kerri E Musson wrote:I am writing in response to your email (as copied below). I am afraid that you would not be able to reproduce the article which appeared in Gas Installer magazine as the magazine is covered under copywrite. I will discuss the wider issue with colleagues and get back to you later this week regarding your further requests. It is possible that our Press Officer may be able to provide some text for the website in due course.
More when I get it.

No, I found the same with many of the “new” control units. It seems they are OK with motor control modules and microwave pcb’s. But, as they have informed me, many of the recent pcb’s that are the complete control type have hybrid IC’s that are impossible to source. 😥

I also as Alex has said have tried to keep out of this thread, apart from the odd comment.
Reading the above and listening to the people who phone me with huge concerns over how they may survive if or when the NESN/Connect thing comes to a head is alarming enough.
When I hear of friends of mine who are concerned that their very livelehood is threatened, sorry, new ball game I’m afraid. I know these guys personally, they have wives, children and families, all of which may be threatened by a corporate war that is created by a sruggle that is beyond their control.
For goodness sake, I am personally pissed off with the toing and froing of insults and jibes from all parties, come to you’re senses, we all need to work together, we are all prepared to talk.
I will not see, and will not tollerate bullying of any sort.
Jonathan, you are hereby invited to partake in negotiations, the like of which will change the face of the whole service industry

Oldlonely, have you copyrighted that or can I nick it as a new UKW slogan ? 😆
I don’t think you need correcting there, that is just about how most of the manufacturers budget for their i/g costs I believe 😥

I have emailed Corgi on Wedneday this week (3/11) regarding the concerns raised here about this and offering them access to answer the queries directly, as yet no reply.
The fossil fuel fiasco is the way they are pushing people who have no previous gas experience. Fossils at the Corgi healm if you ask me.
I fully understand their concerns of allowing incompetent enginners to repair gas appliances, but in their own words “it is perfectly acceptable to allow obviously intelligent people to gain ACS competence” or words to that effect, I left the Corgi mag at work, I’ll edit tommorrow if totally wrong.
Updates as and when I get anything back from HM’s pooches.

Perhaps misinformed may be more appropriate. The document I believe is very cleverly worded, and as with all contracts I would suggest a thorough dissection of every definition and condition before contemplating signing. Although in this case a thorough re-write may be more appropriate.
