    Thanks for asking 😆

If anyone would like to add known fault codes, it’s quite easy, no different than posting a normal message 😉

Re: Source of parts for Diplomat E1000 Electric cooker ?

I’ll check out the part tommorrow for you. The only problem I can forsee, if the part has been removed and the leads taped up, are they labelled ? I’m not sure if I can sort the wiring diagram out for you.

    Anyone else have one ?

John, Diplomat is a brand name of MFI. You can contact them at any of their stores, they will give you the spares telephone number.

If you get stuck, please reply and I’ll let you have the number when I am in the office.

😀 Are you frustrated because of the problems obtaining this part or for some other reason 😉 😆

Re: Stoves FFD Part NO. 011534453

Ernie, what is the full model ? That FSD part number is a very unusual one, most Stoves ovens use a couple of fairly common one’s. Knowing the information they give out it is probably inaccurate, unless this is an LPG one.

    Re: Creda Camargue.

Chris, 6222992 should do it, although it does not have any cut out it should be the correct dimensions to fit. It’s the most common Creda door seal.

It appears you have the wrong part though, the part number given to me yesterday by GIAS (97923270) is a different timer than the one you have.

    Re: Hoover tumble drier timer

Bit of an odd one this Sumphose. The part number you have is the same one I came up with, superseded from 04750229 or 97923288.

I phoned GIAS today about another part query and I enquired about your’s while on to them. They gave me part number 97923270 which is not recognised by Washvac or Electrue.

I guess if you have a GIAS account you can order it from them, if you get stuck let me know and I can get it for you.

Sorry, I was refering to the microwave door as you said that you had already sourced the Servis door part(s). As bonzaco has said, if you need anything for the Servis door, pop the model number and serial number in here and someone will reply.

kwatt wrote:If DSG/Electrue want conditions like that met then, in my honest opinion, they should employ their own engineers and try and force their own workforce to put up with those conditions for the money they pay us.

They would have a damn hard job. I have had an advert placed in our local job centre and in the local paper for over a month. I have not recieved one applicant. And if the other comments are true in another forum about Comet mailing local one man bands and small businesses to try and gain engineers it does not paint a pretty picture.

I know one thing, if you have good engineers, don’t loose them, you will be hard placed to replace them. This is based on local knowledge and I can only assume it’s national.
