ParticipantRe: Hotpoint 9345 Tumble Dryer
There are two 179156 thermistors, one at the rear and the other is on the heater support plate, it may well be the one you haven’t already replaced. 🙄 Sods law as they say.
Worth a try I guess, if not the main PCB control unit may be faulty.

Hi, could you let me know the part numbers of the sensors and thermistors already replaced, I will check if there are any others that may be in there somewhere.
Regards.

ParticipantRe: Reports, Reports, Reports
I’ve actually been emailing Wendy for some months now with spares orders and info on calls but never sent reports that way.
I will do now though if this is acceptable.

Good idea, there are many consequences and fallout from this, so, I’ll wait with baited breath tommorrow when the poo hits the blade.Dave.

ParticipantRe: Haier spares
Thanks Bob,
I’ll add the number to my contacts, the part is no longer required now as the customer got fed up of waiting and replaced the appliance.
Do you have regular need to order Haier parts ? How do you get on as it has cropped up a few times that the guys have had problems with Haier backup generally.

ParticipantRe: Site News & Updates
Yes, it’s quite amazing how the community has grown, I’m as dumfounded as Ken at the interest and the huge contributions from all the members.
Apart from the congratulations to all who contribute to the site, it may be appropriate (I hope the spelling’s correct) to say, once again, a huge thankyou to Ken for having the forethought and taking the time to get this whole thing going in the first place.
Personally, it is a pleasure and a privilidge to have a part in this, which has to be said is a revelation, and I think many, if not all the members will agree.
Thanks Ken, you old Haggis Shagger 😉

Yes, I can now confirm that NESN will no longer take any calls on the coverplan contract as of monday morning.
JT has brainwashed a few larger members (and I have spoken to a few “small members”) who were not even invited to the Walsall hypnotherapy session, odd that isn’t it ?
If the overlord who is almighty in SOS thinks for one minute he can take the piss out of DSG then he is sadly mistaken. He may as well employ someone right now to remove his bollocks from the vice where they will end up.
Call for the men in white coats for the MD TT driver. Sorry Managing Director Audi Total Twat driver 😉

Yes it does, and how long will it last in a kitchen if it can’t withstand three days on show with constant drum roatation.
Worn brushes cost more to replace than the appliance I hear you say, surely not 😉
Dave.
Edited due to brain-deadness caused by alcohol, this machine wouldn’t have any brushes if it was a direct drive 😳 .

AlexHere here Alex !!
Well said, I for one would like to see more of the people at the healm as it were making a contribution, this web site was never and never will be an “us and them” thing. It is a medium for all of us to get together and and improve the working envoroment by communication. 😀

ParticipantRe: Beko
My other concern in all this is the spares back up for the guys that will be doing the repairs.
Knowing Beko of old, spares-wise anyway, their record is abysmal to say the very least. SEME are actually the appointed stockists, originally for the brown goods stuff and then whitegoods. I seem to recall that another extended warraty company having huge difficulties obtaining spares for these products, many taking weeks to arrive.
The whole scenario looks doomed from the outcome if you ask me. 😥
