Re: Fixed Cost Repairs Are Dead

Hi I was just thinking about the very subject today. Is it about time the likes of repair care up the payments for the calls they send out. As it was stated earlier in the thread appliances are becoming increasingly complex to strip down and diagnose.

    Re: Rangemaster dishwasher fault codes

Hi thanks for the reply. I have checked the Base but all OK I now think it could be the switch its self is faulty or the wiring is at fault. Thanks again.

    Re: Beko DCU9330R Dryer

    hi thanks for your reply
when it cuts out it stops completely ie comes to end of program motor stops and display reads ” end “
it was my original train of thought that as it was empty it simply came to the end of the cycle .
the customer states that it also stops early when full of clothes
I tried it on a timed program empty and it also stopped after approx ten mins
    thanks

Re: LG GWL227HSYA side by side F/F

thanks r600a . I think whats happened in this case is the machine is in a shed at the side of the house and the cold weather has frozen the pump and damaged it . why do people buy expensive appliances then put them in uninsulated sheds in the garden ?

    Re: Appliance Fires

    thanks guys
it was just a thought I pretty much came to the conclusion that
the finger would be pointed at whoever said it was safe at the time of inspection .but whos to say any of us are immune from the possibility of finger pointing in the event of an appliance going up in smoke which had been repaired by one of us ?
I do test all appliances and record all results its the only way I can sleep at night knowing that each repair is complete
good shout lee8 ill change my ad to include electrical and function safety checks

Re: British Gas go Hi Viz

iam not surprised there was talk of this when i left BG
the engineers PPE bag will be bigger and heavier than their tool box
I wonder if BG have extended job times to allow for the extra trips to and from their vans to set up the work area ?
