Re: BOSCH WASHER DRYER STOPS MID CYCLE

Hi I don’t have a Megger only a multi meter.
The machine seems to stop at the same time though during the wash cycle.
I would have thought an earth leak would have been a bit moe random, and stop the machine at random times, is that not the case?

    Thanks

Re: BOSCH WASHER DRYER STOPS MID CYCLE

This is very strange as the machine for the last 2 weeks has been working 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} fine without me touching it.
I was going to check the points that 1totalshambles indicated, but it seemed to rectify itself. My logic was if it was a partial / fun blockage then it must have corrected itself and the blockage cleared.
However today it has done the same fault, and stopped mid wash and allowed the door to open.
Does this point more to a sensor intermittantly working or more towards the PCB, or could it be something else.

    Cheers all

    Hi
Thanks for the reply, i will check the pipes and filters for blockages, then i suppose its the valves if that fails.

Re: BOSCH HBN7050GB/01 main oven problems

    Hi
Yeh its a fan oven , and the fan is working fine.
It has one element that is also working fine.
I understand your logic, but its actually burning food towards the top right hand corner of the oven, as if thats like a hot spot, but the oven seems to take an age to reach the temp to turn the light off.
    Strange really

Thanks for giving me the expected readings on the NTC sensor.
After checking, this was shot, so £11 later and its tip top again….saved me a new washer dryer…. 😀
    Thanks again

    Re: BOSCH WFT2800GB/13 DRYER PROBLEM

    Hi Penguin
The fan motor is running fine, am trying to identify the condenser housing/ valve so these can be checked.I did think about the NTC device..Do you have any idea how this can be checked at all, using a multimeter perhaps ? If its a PCB problem, i think its time to change the machine as its over £200 for the part
    Anymore advice is welcome
    Thanks

    Re: BOSCH WFT2800GB/13 DRYER PROBLEM

It seems its only working on drying cycles 2 & 3 ? On drying cycle 1 it works occasionally, then stops working until the reset button is pressed on the temp limiter. This leads me to think on cycle 1 it may be getting too hot and tripping out..Am i on the right lines here? I have replaced the temp limiter, so that is not the problem..
Anybody have any advice on what to look at next to solve the problem ?
    Cheers

    Re: BOSCH WFT2800GB/13 DRYER PROBLEM

    Hi
When the reset button on the temp-limiter was pressed, the clothes dried fine, then it was left over night. When it was used the following day, the dryer didn’t produce any heat at all, and the clothes came out all cold n damp.
    Any thoughts

Re: Bosch 7050GB Fan oven temperature crisis

    Hi
The element is new as is the temp limiter.
The oven heats up, but does not respond to the temp knob, it just keeps heating up and up.
Am wondering if i can test the presumed faulty temp regulator, if so anybody know what reading i should be expecting for this part.
    Cheers
    Darren
