It can vary with coils but I would expect the solenoid resistance to be in the Kilohm range.

I’ve had this with a few Electrupart door seal on Bosch. Found it best to get genuine Bosch seal.

Have you checked the contanuity on the heater?

OC heaters normally stop Bosch mid cycle.

You should get 240v to the fill valve. If no joy check the wiring harness. The wireing that runs under the door is common on all dishwashers to split.

Check continuity from the PCB in the door to the fill valve.

The melting is causing by sparking on the commutator. The clicking will be a raised segment that is hitting the brush as it turns.

As iadom says its a new motor job. I would bet that the DC module has blown aswell.

There is very limited info for this model. Is it old? With no diagram I can’t confirm which part you require.

Re: Kenwood dishwasher (KDW60B13) not filling with water

    Hi,

If the appliance was working 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} fine before it was disconnected I can only assume the inlet hose has been kinked when pushing back in, has this been checked?

The first thing a dishwasher does when starting a cycle is drain. If the draining is continued this normally mean there is water in the base. Tip the machine back 45 degrees to see if any water comes out (With it disconnected from the power)

Once these have been checked test again and let us know.

    Thanks,

    Dan.
