does anybody know of a supplier for used/recon boards for fdw60g dishwasher, all problems seem to lead to this, thanks.

thanks for the advice jim. looks like a new board is required then, does any body know of a supplier of used/second hand pcb’s, preferably local to the N.W. as only paid 70 quid for the machine and cant justify the 95 quid plus for the pcb.

thanks jim, board looks good i.e. no tracks blown. i cut back and replaced the chaffed section on the connecting wires but carried out a continuity check from plug-plug and was ok. i assume if the board was damaged it would be on the speed controller/soft start part of the board. if voltage was showing at the brush connectors would this mean a motor problem?

thanks iadom, do you know if there any checks regarding readings from the board that i can take, the readings from the motor brushes showed low resistance, about 4 ohms so im assuming this is ok?. not much experience with this type of motor.

checking over again, penguin 45 mentioned bad solder on the pcb, any one i should check in particular, im assuming its the pink wire spade connector????…….not much hair left now…..

thanks for reply,
getting no heat unfortunately, when m/c is filled and pressure switch has activated, the plug on the element is showing 240v, checked on both wires to earth and accross the 2 said wires, but when checked with the clamp on its showing no current draw. whats more confusing is the element coil is showing 26 ohms resistance. had a look at the board but all connections ‘look’ ok. incidently i am a service technician for commercial catering equipment, but not much experience with hotpoint etc….so it could be the board. -
