    Hi

As Argos, Boots and Currys carve up the brands between them I find it best to mainly stock the suppliers own brand labels. Connect have Wellco while Pik A Pak have Igenix. Yes dabble a little bit with the others by all means but staying with the exclusives is the way to go IMO.

Re: Removal & Installation of Integrated oven

Your Whirlpool oven at the rear top has a step cut out of it to allow the gas pipe from the hob to miss the oven casing allowing the the oven to slide all the way back.

The Indesit does not have this large step just a small slope which may hit the gas pipe when you push the oven back.

    Hi Si

The Indesit rear cabinet is a different shape to the Whirlpool ones. You may find the new oven will not go back flush like it should. In which case a Gas Safe engineer will have to re configure your gas supply pipe.

Disconnecting the flex from the oven is no different to wiring a plug. Just make sure you have isolated the supply before diving in. :plug: :zap:

    Hi

can’t find your model number, there is an AKZ453 single oven.

Assuming this is the one then you simply open the door remove the two screws securing the oven to the housing and simply slide it out.

Turn off the power off and disconnect the oven. Remove flex from old oven and keep to one side. The new oven may or may not have a flex connected to it so keeping the old one just in case is the best way.

Which oven have you ordered as the replacement? Do you have a gas hob installed above the oven?

    Hi

Hotpoint were the last to produce one it was the RTA42 which is sadly no longer in production. The only other way would be to have a tall larder fridge and pop a small table top freezer on it.

Never been asked that question before. I would ring Liebherr direct and ask the question 🙂

    Hi

Your first choice is extremely good. The only way to better it would be to look at the Liebherr range, these are the best you can get. They are not cheap but they are good. They also produce for Miele as well so they could be worth a look.

    Appliance Fire Avoidance Tips

most you can do something about through simple safety and, with all the recent press hoopla over the Hotpoint tumble dryer fires,

I did Google hoopla and apart from a game there is very little info on it. Should it be hoohah ?

What we often see and, we admit roll our eyes a bit when we do, is people who are obviously very upset at the loss incurred or the scare they got taking about dangerous products, recalls, compensation and so forth with the media on occasion joining in.

    Should it be talking?

The other two articles look fine to me although Jim will probably find some more 😆
