Re: Haier lack of spares
I have A Haier Fridge freezer on order ( one of few who produce 50cm
wide with reasonable capacities) for a customer. With xmas around the corner I`m keen to keep on top of special orders. Chased this one yesterday to be told you`ll be lucky they have no stock in the country?
Not only is there no spares there is now no finished goods!!!!
I wonder if the distributor is trying to say something! It makes you feel

I know this is not white goods related however quite interesting Philips
brown goods service which until recently has been carried out by Endeva has now changed. Customer now calls Domestic and General ( prior to Endeva, retailer had to register customer purchase with D&G ) who now pass call to nearest agent. In our case to an agent about twenty five miles away who is owned by ……. yep SOS.
But having spoken to them if it is true, in home fix is first option, second to workshop with loan supplied. In passing when our tv went belly up under guarantee collection to workshop was only option. We wait and ❓

From the way the article reads Whirlpool will be seeking out F&P outlets and vice versa as article states ” the strategic fit with the whirlpool brand is excellent and offers both parties significant growth potential “. One issue I can think of is how does this affect the staffing levels in the UK of these two? We have seen this sort of thing before 😕 .

ERT issue November 20th. As of January 1st 2004 Whirlpool will be responsible for the distribution and marketing of Fisher & Paykel in the Uk on an initial three year contract. More on this http://www.ertweekly.com There is nothing in the article about service though 🙁

I agree with Dave on washer “clones”.Perhaps this should be the first listing, how about explaining energy ratings and consumption levels then onto tips of the merits of different machines. Count me in on this one I`m 😀 to offer any input if needed.

Just when I thought it had all been said, Ken comes up with a real gem of an upgrade. Dare I say that the “downtime” has been really worth it from the end user point of view. The extra functions are an excellent add on.

Donhas anyone else had this problem ? I have recently made a couple of service requests on GDA Customernet rather than phoning them through which can take an age.The idea is you key customer details and requirements through this medium. GDA service then contact customer to arrange visit. this is where it is going wrong, customers are not being contacted which is most annoying. As then you have to resort to the phone. I thought all this new fangled electric mail was there to help us? I have spoken to rep about this, but no positive response yet 😡

Ordered an Indesit built in larder last night on line, Wed am informed out of stock.Seems like on line ordering for this brand not yet up to speed
