Filter and pump is available separately, just let us know if you need either.

Torx sets are available from the likes of B&Q etc.

Time remaining is an estimated time as water pressure etc can extend wash times slightly.

You may need to compromise on something 😉

In which case the best I know of is the Hotpoint RSAAV21P for capacity and quality.

    Hi Bob

I’ve merged the two topics together.

You will need to solve the problem with the pump first. You will either need to break the filter in order to remove the obstruction and then replace the filter or investigate further by removing the base plate and pump and try to remove the blockage from the drum side.

If you need to replace either part just pop up the rest of the ENR no. ie WF02866GB/?? and the FD number.

In a word no. Sorry to ruin your’e good idea 😉

There aren’t that many to choose from, and they all seem to be at the cheaper end (Argos has one, and there’s a black one as well whose brand I forget).

Two are Argos value and the black one is branded Russell Hobbs. I will wager that they have all originated from the same Chinese factory. The only thing I can guarantee is it will be poor quality in build and finish.

Time to think again I’m afraid 🙂

If you don’t feel confident to have a go yourself do you have a friend you could call on?

If not you would need to get an odd job person or a plumber in to have a look.

    Hi vimtoad

First off I would still buy a good quality washer like a Siemens or a Bosch. Washing machines need to be used regularly to keep them in tip top condition. If you are going to be a light user approx four loads a month I would recommend you carry out a maintenance wash every couple of weeks just to keep the machine in the best possible condition. I would also leave the door slightly open when not in use as well.

As far as the install goes, you are quite correct that all machines are now cold fill. An easy way to ascertain which is which is to turn on the red one into a large bucket and if the water runs cold you have then got the right one.

If you use a local independent dealer they will make sure you receive the correct advice and that the appliance is installed correctly.

RETRA is a good first port of call for a good local independent.

    HTH 🙂

    Hi

The only others I am aware of in that height are the Beko and Hotpoint ones.

Beko build not bad and claims to work in low temperatures so suitable for garage. Hotpoint baskets are better as is overall quality of machine.

Personally I would rather have a non frost free Bosch 😉
