Re: Double or single electric oven?

    Hi Martin

It must be a single cavity dual fuel range like the Indesit K9F11SKG or the Flavel FDF90 to run off a 13A socket.

    Hi

Nope nothing I’m afraid on that one the 854 one is the one but nowhere recognises it.

It’s either an incorrect number or the model is long discontinued and there are no parts available.

    Hi

Sadly we are unable to advise on gas repairs forum rules

Should be a straight forward repair for a Gas Safe engineer though.

If you don’t know of one you could try our own find an engineer to carry out your repair.

    HTH 🙂

    Hi reaper

Position 9530 is shaft seal part number 481253058177 according to Whirlpool spares.

Unless it’s part of the rear tub 2002.

Never been an issue for me when this question has come up. A full explanation on how it works suffices for my customers.

I offer a sympathetic ear and a solution to the problem, ie sell them a better appliance which will last more than six years and be relatively trouble free during that period as well.

Offer a discount in this day and age to one customer and everyone will be wanting it.

There is not enough margin to play with nowadays as it is let alone giving it away.

Free tissues ? Not a chance they are 5p each :clown:

    Hi Muv

That model number is for a ceramic hob.

Moved to trade spares as well 😉

Any of the Bosch / Neff range or if you up the budget then the Miele which will last considerably longer.

    Hi

If you still have the instructions can you post up the dimensions of the unit. Otherwise can you measure physically please.

I reckon it’s this size model of compact.

Sadly it doesn’t get any better if this story as reported on BBC1 business this morning is anything to go by.

Feel sorry for the staff with all this uncertainty going on especially with christmas coming up.

Too many motor failures of late on Miele cylinders.

Sebo are still top of the pile by a long way.
