    Morning Jonah

From the known error codes if it helps 😉

    Martin wrote:(some)Bosch Loggixx Dishwasher codes

Common error codes on models with LED display:-

    A or B = Aqua sensor fault.
C = No tacho pulses (i.e Motor runs at full speed 2,800rpm).
D = Short circuit triac to Circulation Pump (pump keeps running).
E = Water points switching error between top & bottom basket.
F = Filling error (time out 6 mins)
G = Water points error, triac fault on circuit board, short circuit.
H = Heating error (time out) Element, relay on module or pressure s/w.
    K = NTC error
O = Safety level switching error

No hard and fast rules apply to the above, but some knowledge is better than none I suppose? 😉

    Re: Carpet Shampooer

If it`s a domestic machine, then the Numatic George GVE370 pump action is about the best. Vax and Bissell are mainly upright machines which are not well made, when working do a fair job but the failure rate is high and build is not good at all. The Vax 6131 cylinder gravity fed orange machine has been around for years and does a fair job at a cheaper price than the Numatic.

Another option, if it`s for washing carpets once a year HSS hire are worth a look as they are much better than anything domestic.

For heavy duty or large areas the Numatic commercial range is the best.

Basically yes that is how it goes.

To get the best out of any integrated appliance they do need to be installed correctly according to the manufacturers specification observing the all important issue of adequate ventilation.

    Hi tash

There are two universal ones in the UKW shop here one with shelf and one without. Hotpoint blurb no longer mentions stacking kits, you could try pre sales advice line on 08000 92 1922.

Bosch machines are designed to stack, accessory no. WTZ11310 stacking kit and same with sliding shelf WTZ11300.

Hi fireflier ( nice to see another Don on the site ) 😀

Bosh and Neff are part of the BSH group. You will get the same two year warranty, same service engineer should one ever be required, same spec, same functions apart from the Neff having a keep food warm option, same exterior finish and that`s for starters 😉

The only real difference is on the control panel, this gives each brand name there own identity. Personally in this area I prefer the Neff as the panel looks less busy which gives it a cleaner look.

Time to toss a coin I think 😉

I know in the back of my mind that the siemens is the best bet, you have confirmed this, thanks.
Just cant get that damn money saving monkey off my back 😳

We are an independant retailer in Exeter, it looks like you `may` be around the Manchester area, just a little too far for both of us 😉 Our price on the Gorenje is £349 Inc VAT, the Siemens I cannot compete on price at all, nowhere near it, might as well give it to you 😕 I shall be glad when they follow Bosch / Neff and give the same cost prices to the high St. shops and the online retailers, I can but hope.

    Hi

I`m looking at the black Gorenje WA72145 from my desk as I type.

You won`t get any guarantee to cover for child abuse i`m afraid 😉 😆 Best to go for the sturdier Siemens machine, when you look at it in the cold light of day it would only cost 17p more per week, assuming they last for eight years.

Re: Gorenje, Bosch or Siemens? Help!

    Hi freicycler

The good news is none of them have thew dreaded sealed drum 😀 Gorenje have been around for a good ten years now and on the whole the reliability is good and with the back up of at least a two year warranty if not a five they are always a god bet.

The Bosch is a better build machine in the door hinge area and the doors themselves are sturdier which may come in handy when little ones start to lean or swing on them. Siemens is part of the same group as Bosch and the product a little sturdier again with slightly better energy consumptions and programme options which reflects in the price and with it`s five year warranty it would be my fist choice everytime followed by the Bosch and then the Gorenje.

Do you really need a 7kg machine? A read of this article may make you reconsider.
