ModeratorRe: New Moderator
Hi guys
Mad fool that I am 😆 Thanks for the welcome 😀
As my user details hadn`t changed from UKW super user to UK moderator I didn`t think I had access yet 😉
I hope I can contribute to the team effort and help out in any way I can.
Looks like I have some reading to catch up on let alone the stuff Ken is going to let me have.

Hi Justin
First off take a look at the Neff series available, not everyone needs all the functions that each series offer 😉 from that page click on the “series no” for the models and styles available. The ones you are looking for are the 880mm models.HTH

Hi Justin
Is this a single or double oven? Built under the worktop or at waist height and up ? So many questions I know :rolls:

Hi duck1E
In order of quality over quantity or anything else 😉 Liebherr by far the best but does come at a price, next best, anything by Bosch always worth going for good two year warranty as well, then the Hotpoint models not as good as they used to be IMO and a little too cluttered in the fridge for my liking.
As for the others, leave well alone unless you want grief 😆

Hi Mark
You could try AWI I don`t know if they will supply on a single order basis or if you need to open an account.
Ebay are listing that part no. as well 😉

Same family as Bosch and Siemens 😉 no point in putting the credit card away just yet 😆

Hi duck1e
Take a look at Liebherr probably about the best of the bunch, next best Bosch and Siemens both from the same stable. Bosch will give you a two year warranty as will Siemens. Selected Siemens models through their authorised dealers will attract a full five year warranty.

😆 They never do, do they 😆
Bosch are the only ones I know of currently, it reduces the height down to 81.5cm, I have checked Indesit, Beko, Hotpoint and Zanussi current models but with no luck I`m afraid. so it seems landlord may have to dig a little deeper as the basic model with the height reduction option is the SMS50E12GB has a two year warranty as well. The only other suggestion would be to install a budget built in machine and add a door to it.

Hi
It doesn`t matter who replies everyone will say the same “avoid the Koreans” ie Samsung, Daewoo, LG etc like the plague. However these are the only machines that will fall into your price range. A read of this thread which had nearly 4000 views may help along with this our buying guide may go towards answering your post.
At the end of the day yes you can go budget end or you can go with someone like GE, Maytag, Amana etc, and have an appliance which will last a lot longer

Hi JustinL
That deal on the Siemens is as good as it gets to be fair. £398 for a fully integrated dishwasher which IIRC comes with a five year warranty. I think it`s time to get the credit card out and hope they have some left.
