ModeratorRe: Which Condenser Dryer to buy?
Hi MrsC
The current crop of Creda dryers are nowhere near the build quality of your curent machine.
Taking on board the usage and the credit crunch I would go for either one from the Whirlpool or Zanussi range.
This article may help you to decide and this one is well worth a read 😉

Hi Tom
No joy at Connect or SEME I`m afraid, you could try Beko direct on 0845 6004911.

Hi
For the small difference in the price I would go for the SMS50E02 it has a few more features, uses slightly less water per cycle and has 13 place settings.

Hi Washman
SIOS doesn`t recognise the model or the 12NC either. You could try Whirlpool service on 0870 600 8989, IIRC it`s option 3 for spare parts enquiries.

ModeratorRe: chest freezer advice
Hi tannis
Not a stupid question at all 😉 the chest freezer will work fine in the spare room. If it gets too warm in the summer the freezer will work overtime resulting in reduced life. The more ventilation you can create the better, which will also reduce your electricity consumption.

I read R600`s post and it made me chuckle at the price of one hundred and twenty nine pounds a litre!!!!
If it does reach that price everyone will be either walking everywhere or getting on their bikes 😆

Hi Garryl
We find that the best built in appliances are Neff ( from the same stable as Bosch and Siemens), you don`t pay Miele prices but you get products which are well made, have a two year warranty, are easy to use and look good at the same time. Kitchen installers like them too as they are easy to install 😉
Garryl wrote:Hi,
So what am I looking, ideally-
dishwasher, pref integrated slimline have looked at Meile and Siemens any others worth a look… cost is lower down the list to longevity and performance
Neff 45cm fully integrated slimline, model S5943X2GB

hob, leaning towards induction.. personally can’t see much difference between mftrs but more than happy to be corrected – very simplistic, but don’t they all just heat up?I would personally keep with a good ceramic perhaps frameless and touch control like the T1323X0.
For induction hobs you will need to ensure good ventilation around the hob and magnetic saucepans are required for the hob to function.

integrated double oven, been told number one must have is selfclean.. again all I have found (or perhaps more rather stopped looking once I found 2) are Miele and Siemens. Had thought about double oven with the smaller being combi (inc microwave) but not sure if it’s a good idea? There are quite a few double built in ovens depending on functions. The U1322 is a good basic oven followed by the U1422 and then the U1442 these are available in most colours.
What you could do is install a single oven with a full size built in combi microwave over it, we chose this option last year when we refitted our kitchen

Perhaps this is way too much to ask for especially in one thread… but any guidence would be nice as I haven’t got much hair left!Quite a few other manufacturers produce a whole range of integrated appliances like Hotpoint, Indesit, AEG, Zanussi just to name a few 😉

ModeratorRe: NEFF Fan Oven – need help finding instruction manual
Hi
There was a thread a while back on the same model as yours which gives the rest of the model details. I have tried Neff trade online but it`s just to old I`m afraid. However if you give Neff product advice a ring on 0844 892 8926 and quote the enr number from the link, they will have a look to see if they have a hard copy which could be copied and posted to you.
