So my original question, could I use any similar diameter hose? OR one from another machine?

In the short term yes, as long as you get a nice fit to stop any potential leak causing any damage. Only problem is finding one which is similar?

    Hi Rufus

Have you tried our own spares shop ? Click the link “find a spare part” in your last post. Dave may be able to help 😉

I would still go with the Smeg SUK61XPZ5 😉

Good grief Ken you have been busy burning the midnight oil no doubt ❗

When you start looking at the forums closely you can see all the changes. New banners some with ISE, Qualtex spares, Advice and help, Dyson spares and others like WTA 😉

Not to mention people like Tribal, Viking direct, Plastic Surgeon and Boots appliances in the postings. Plus all the usual links like find an engineeer, advice and help and find a spare part.

    All great stuff

It`s a picture hunt book, the idea is to find Wally in each picture. Our kids loved it, thought it was great fun. http://www.thegreatpicturehunt.co.uk/

Obviously not north of the border though 😆

    Hi

I found the following which explains the pyrolitic cycle.

    Hi

For the small difference in the price I would go with the SUK61XPZ5. If you went for the cheaper version and decided later to purchase the pizza items as accessories it would cost far more.

As far as door glass cleaning is concerned, the doors are easily removed as described in the instruction manual.

    Hi Richard

Just checked the spec on the Comet web site and sadly it does not have a delay start timer. But then at that price I would not expect it to 😉 .

Re: Using a Proline Logic dishwasher via a remote timer

    Hi Richard

If the machine has a mechanical switch ie it stays in when pressed in, then yes it should work with an external timer. Machines with the touch switches need to have the delay start function as a feature built into the machine for it to switch on automatically.

Re: Can anyone recommend a good lcd tv.

Try an ext1 or 2 scart if you have one. I have known in the past some of the AV outlets to be a bit quirky on sound. The only other thing on scart leads is go for one which has individual screening on each pin and ensure the scart sits square to the socket, as this can also leads to sound problems.
