    Hi Steve

Would one of the Whirlpool semi comercial top loaders like the LSQ8033 fit? They measure 1092 h, 683 w and 686 deep. They will take a large 8.1 kg load, hot and cold fill and will wash in about twenty five minutes. The only real downside to them is they have no heater and the water consumption is quite high.

Managed to find a link on the spec if you want to take a look.

I knew I’d answered a post on the subject at some time in the dim and distant past. How the memory fades with time eh? :rolls: 8) 😆

I think this thread ought to be moved to UK Whitegoods you know? 💡

Something told me it had come up before, so a quick search and hey presto.

Probably a good idea to move thread to UK Whitegoods keeps everything nice and tidy 😉

My choice thus far is Neff, but 2 things are bugging me. 1 they do not do a wine cooler – though when asked they said one out possibly late 2007… still waiting..

The K3670X0GB wine cooler is now in stock at Neff and is available for delivery to retailers.

The other thing is the K3990 American Fridge does not have anti bacterial protection, which seems to be standard on all other brands (AEG, Maytag).

So is this an issue ? is this product any good ? Any advice welcome. thanks

Anti bacterial protection layers have been around for a couple of years now, problem is how do you know if it works? I advise my customers that the antibacterial protection is not a substitute for good food hygiene practices.

As far as the Neff products are concerned I don`t think you will find a better manufacturer who can offer such a wide range of built in appliances with a two year warranty across the board.

    Re: Washing Machine Depth Issue

    Hi

Washing machines in the main are 600 mm deep, however Beko produce some at 540 deep but these are only capable of taking a 5kg load. Hotpoint also produce some at 580 deep and Bosch produce a 400 deep machine for the narrowest of spaces.

If it were me I would have a plumber in to ascertain if the current arrangement can be improved to accomodate a 600 deep machine.

    Re: Low Worksurfaces – Fridge & Freezer…

    Hi

the shortest fridges and frezers I can find are the Lec L5026 and U5026 which measure 838 high 480 wide and 540 deep. Both of these would come in on budget as well. However the height is the problem.

Built in fridges and freezers under the worktop are 600 wide and as you say are 540 deep, however you will need a kitchen door and plinth under to finish them off. Just bear in mind the £300 budget would go out of the window 😉

The only other option I can think of would be to re shuffle the kitchen or cut out the worktop in the current position and install a 600 wide fridge freezer.

We had some overnight on the edge of Dartmoor. A nice white covering everywhere this morning, slithered to a halt down a small hill over a give way sign. A good job it`s Saturday and not much traffic around. 2 miles down the road towards Exeter absolutely nowt.

The last line of the article says it all really :rolls: .

But for a microwave that costs less than £30 are we really surprised that it’s poor quality… well, no, not really.

    Hi

If I had a choice of quantity over quality, quality of wash would win every time. If you want a good quality machine with a long guarantee and a good service backup, have a look at the ISE 10. Anything else would be a compromise IMO
