    Re: Neff 16 Amp ovens

Electricians are the last people to take advice from, wired on a fuse spur which in it self should be on a ring main rated at 32amp, throw in diversity and no problems.
Electricians will just complicate it and then ask someone else to sign off.

    Re: Neff 16 Amp ovens

The old ones were rated the same so all that’s changed is the new style lead which you can just plug in or pref hardware on 13amp switched spur on kitchen ring

Most current single ovens are 550mm max depth due to the cabinets being mas 560mm deep

    Hi Ken
just picked up on this, as much as this is bad news for the customers, its not a new situation, shit happens and sometimes you cant keep taking shit just because others want you to.
Its a shame and life moves on, I have a customer in today whos 1406 has failed, we will try to fix it and if we cant we will do them a deal on a new machine, we have explained that ISE have ceased trading and not a lot anyone can do, same response when all the others have gone pop.

You tried ken and along the way ISE didn’t get as much support as it could have done, but there is nothing anyone can do when credit is pulled and t&c’s have been rewritten.

If the product is unsatisfactory recourse can be found through the courts, consumer complaints programmes and Web forums such as this. It’s especially useful when a previously condemned businessman has a history returns and then repeats that history.

Well lee that might happen, we shall do one job at a time and when its paid do the next, if NAC pay as stated then no problem, but it will be one strike and your out as far as we are concerned.

Well I will stick my hand up, he emailed me and asked if I would do an inspection, I did and just as he’s says above NAC paid by BACS as soon as my invoice was sent.
I did say that I am happy to do the jobs but it will be purely business, I am not interested in anything else.
Money is money and in that respect I am no different to anyone else.
You guys should decide for yourself.

I have already got to replace 2 Fagor appliances we cant get spares for to repair, if this keeps up I will be bust in 6 months !!

as ken has said, we helped them through the difficult period and now dumped, so no chance of recouping money from future service calls.

Re: Legal advice needed… Speed restriction on transit van

stratfordgirl wrote:DrDill, I would rather trust the highway code and GOV website than your opinion, thank you very much.

These speed limits have been in place since the late 1970s. Maybe you learned to drive before that?
Anyone listening to your advice would get a speeding fine!!
Any van is a goods vehicle, so astravan, escort van etc is classed as a goods vehicle, its up to 7.5 tons and will be taxed as a goods vehicle, these are not car derived vans!
So this applies:- 50 on single roads, 60 on dual and motorways, that I am afraid is a fact!
If you was to have a Nissan Navara wich is a dual purpose vehicle then the car speed limits apply.

I have been done for speeding on a single carriegway in an Astra van, escort van and a vito van, and in court the maximum speed limit for the vehicle has been stated as 50mph on that type of road, it gives you a SP60.
If you drive a astra van, escort van, vito van, transit van etc you will be breaking the speed limit if you do 70mph on the motorway, this is a fact.
Whether the law decide to stop and do you is another thing.

These I am afraid Stafford girl are the facts, not what you say, so not listening to the doc will cost a few some fines!

Staffordgirl your wrong, speed limit applies to the vehicle if it is classed as goods vehicle, check your tax disc and it tells you there the classification
