Heard they were closing the call centre in Sheffield and making the staff redundant. I would assume moving everything to Durham !
Have done a few source own spares today on what we would call stock items , TD belts, fans , capacitors and even an oven fan element. Is someone running there stock down ? I wonder why !!!! Mind you I could be adding 2 and 2 together and getting 5 but the pieces seem to be fitting together.
I dont see what the DA problem is !!!

We have been managing to get source owns on stock items, since yesterday now been told point blank no chance ! Even when closing month end jobs down !
Also had a call this morning asking if I’ve heard about the offer Domestic & General have made to buy them ! ! ! ( I believe this was started by a spares company beginning with Q after interviewing a recently made redundant person) .
Also told by the same person that DSGi are trying to claw back 2 to 3 Million back on overcharges on spares.
Probably just gossip and speculation but we are closing jobs as quick as we can now, and kicking crud jobs back.

You probably already know whats hapened Ken, there were phones calls to agents from all levels of RC management yesterday morning. but in case you dont know,
Because DSGI were going to leave the fold it appears ,Repaircare have put a package together which you would not beleive. This is just DSGI work BER’s 20.00 TD 31.00 Cooking 32.00 Wet 37.00 , NO 3.50 fast repair. NO source own. If you choose not to do the DSGI work you don’t do ny work. They have also supposedly reduced parts cost !In my and others opinion all this does is crucify the agents. How they can expect good quality service ? What are the knock on effects to other contracts ? What are the knock on effects to other work providers ?
Its going to be a rocky road.

See the rumour mill Alex , made me laugh. I too suspect JTM only because there bragging about 2 new contracts there getting soon !
Simple – If you read press reports about trustmark, they were very short of cash, there also seemed to be very little funding coming from other sources into Trustmark, and Government appeared to have put it on the back burner. Our opinion was Trustmrk was going bust or not going to last in the current economic climate.
Because of this after a couple of meetings with trustmark DASA temperarily suspended joining.
I don’t know anything about an investigation ?Jason lost it last year now Phil, sems they are restructuring ? will there be more casualties ? It is rumered Lux are going to announce some changes later this year , big or small changes we dont know, watch this space ?
