Most odd, apologising for everything and our losses, offered to help liase with D&G over the unpaids from them, confirmed about Mr Willey taking the spares (slight snag over the ownership of the building holding things up there apparently) and the sign off……. “if I get back in the trade will you mind if I give you a call?”

Don’t know who u spoke to I have not been passed any Servis work. I spoke to Ken Hart about buying Servis spares last night (4.30) and I was told not a chance- Are you sure your not confusing this with MFI. Your middle paragraph sounds very similar to a tale I was told about MFI
CONFIDENTIAL __ Spoke to Dean yesterday, It appears Smeg were blinded by Homeserves offer/sales figures, Dean tried to argue it but Smeg wouldn’t shift, so servast have had to go with it, to stop Homeserve getting in thru the backdoor. Agents are not affected by the fixed price, but from the 1st of this month it is a different deal with D&G ? Me and Alex know how D&G behave with the manufacturers, so it doesnt surprise me Homeserve are the same. Who will be the strongest if the future Homeserve or D&G ?
Beko IS NOT doing any Servis work . But there is a link, Vestel- Arcelick did make some product. (I understand thats where Connect get most of their spares). Beko-Arcelick are bitter rivals with Vestel Arcelick ( its been described as a bit like Man Utd v’s Chelsea). I have enquired whether I can source Servis spares thru Beko UK, but have been told NO.
I use it too, change the file type when u save it, ie. save as, then below the file name drop the file type box down and choose an .xls extension instead od the .oos extension . Other people can view it with excel etc.
Is it long term work though ! If they have shut stores in your area there is no point carrying on in my opinion. I would be more interested in working with D&G and AIG directly.
We did not get tht letter/email. But I dif get phone call fom a manufacturer telling me they had gone last night. Thats my emploees xmas bonus gone for a shite then !
