    The belt came with a new pulley but I was just trying to fit it with the old pulley

    That was a bit of a rant Ken , you are entitled to your opinion like anyone else but no one who has posted has mentioned anything anti- anybody . We all just have an opinion like yourself whether it be right or wrong. I shall leave it there as I don’t want to start a war.

    Hi Martin , cant see an image on Qaultex and connect doesn’t recognise the number . Had a word with a hoover engineer and the part doesn’t appear on his laptop diagram , thinks it may come with complete evap.

    Hi Don, thanks for your help, but its actually a sensor type thing attached to the evaporator I need . Its listed as the defrost stat on the wiring diagram.

    Have you checked that the links in the terminal block are tight, sounds like a loose connection. Try tightening the screws even if they look o.k.
