ParticipantRe: NEFF U1744N0GB Switch Malfunction
Yes, thanks nomadPaul, just confirmed that with my daughter (who is still looking for the IM).
It seems we can only select the fan oven so can only cook up to 200degC! Other positions of the switch do not work/light up so no selections or temperature higher than 200!
All points to the switch to me, but I am no expert like some of our viewers.
Many thanks for your input.

Big thanks to Egon for sticking with it, and getting a result.
What’s more, thanks for posting the pictures.
It is rare that anybody actually responds to the advice given and explains how he/she arrived at a positive result.
Well done Egon.
….and, as they say in my part of France “Merci beaucoup!”

ParticipantRe: Buying a washer without transit bolts
Following on from this thread, how many people put the transit bolts back in their machines prior to moving house? I know mine may be difficult to find!

ParticipantRe: Tumble Dryer – do I go for vented or condenser?
Following on from Redflame’s comment does that mean that ventilated dryers do not have a filter? If so then I can understand the caution. But my existing tumble dryer has a filter and that gets cleaned regularly, so what is the difference?

Hi Don, et al
Any ideas on the Bosch Condensation Drain Hose Kit WTZ 1110? Is it a good idea to save on having to empty the condensate?

ParticipantRe: Tumble Dryer – do I go for vented or condenser?
Hi Don, and thanks for the link, very useful. In fact exactly what I was thinking – nice to have it confirmed. To influence the decision I have to think beyond our present house where hole through wall is not a problem – we may be challenged in that area next time (hoping that the tumble dryer lasts as long as the old one) so perhaps a condenser dryer may be the answer.
Kind regards
