Looking at the AEG specs, it says, 3300W load, hardwired only and required fuse 16A. does it matter if my consumer unit is on 32A?

ah I don’t think I made it clear. The hob is gas and staying that way.

You’d notice it quite a lot that sort of drop in noise. Decibels is logarithmic scale which means that the sound will drop of almost exponentially.

Though from what I’ve read the new “tray” for cutlery (rather than basket), slides in at the very top, stops wine glasses from going in.

oh 🙁 So what do i buy now? Is there a new consensus? I bought a Siemens IQ700 tumble dryer only 2 years ago and already it’s gone wrong because of fluff build up in the bottom. The chap had to unstrap the belt to “clean” it with the wire coat hanger and towel combo that I gave to him. So I’m slightly hesitant about another Siemens, unless someone can tell me different.

Bosch is Siemens now isnt it? It’s so damned confusing really and not very transparent to the non-discerning consumer.

well, it’s old. i’m assumed it was the circuit/controller board, dying. but someone else said it was mains filter (whatever that is). It wont move on from rinse cycle to drying. Several times in the last couple of months i’ve heard a pop and then the power trips in the house, which I am assuming is capacitors.

I know I asked before and you answered above. I definately think my dishwasher is beyond repair now. Can you tell me:

1. any issues with it?
2. apart from the delivery issues which has clearly left a bad taste, would you buy again?
3. did you compare with meile or other brands when you were looking?
4. what do you like about it?
5. what do you NOT like about it?

Re: Bosch SGS56E02GB/47 no heat and wont finish cycle

Something popped this morning and a burnt electrical smell. It finished the cycle though. Capacitor? do i need to be concerned as it’s still finishing the cycle.
