Sorry just to be clear ,the whole unit needs replacing not just the cover, just wondering if it can be done in situ?

Interesting to read , so a kitchen cabinet is normally heat resistant to 100c , you learn something new everyday 🙂

Yes this was bloody hot , couldn’t touch base for more than a second or so. Obviously the bottom element is right there so I expect it to be hot but this seemed excessive?

What would be the acceptable at the bottom though? I can’t see anything on there for that area?

i would say im back to about 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} before this is all kicked off which is a big improvment over the first few weeks.

I gathered people are probably just replacing it , how that is any safer is debatable given most will need it installing, I just hope the trend doesn’t last too long.

How badly effected are people who are still trying to work? Ive gone from around 25 jobs a week to around 3-5! I’m just hoping it will pick up again when it’s run it’s course but have to admit I’m very concerned. On the flip side a mate who runs a health shop has never been busier but some of the purchases I can’t really imagine are essential?!

i came across this on a hotpoint today that is not on the list, similiar model but different drum size but not covered under the recall, should i be concerned about doing a like for like replacement on the door lock do you think?
