    Re: lg intermittent humming noise

make sure when noise appears ..as it could be recirc pump
quite prone to giving off intermitent noise,s

if not recirc you could be looking at new stator

Re: Is it me OR I’m missing something

    GOOD TIP

if wm is able to tip back , put long nose locking pliers on sump hose as close to filter/pump as poss, thus allowing filter check pump change without the rest of water in drum pouring out …

    Re: Repaircare

repair care have more volume of work coming in with there new online fixed fee service..

and are tinkering about with call handling system where if 1st agent is set up to take 10 calls per day and 15 calls come 5 will spill over to next agent, this is where new agent are need , where as before r-c would have to put customers in to next available day 1st agent could take..

customer complaining about waiting, so new sytem will book to next agent instead of cust waiting…

    fun and games…

Re: LG WD1050FHB gaining time on program.

    does sound like pcb ??

had afew where coins were stuck in sump restricting water into filter >

if you have checked all this , i would quote her for pcb

its not anything you have done changing bearing,
so cust will need to decide if she wants to spend on pcb or put up with time difference???

ps if drain hose is going into a stand pipe make sure you havent pushed hose under water level in stand pipe

    Re: Repaircare

you also get a 3.50 speed of service fee – if job completed within 10 days ? (maybe 7 must check)..

tubs / ff system 25.00 supliment so labour about 65.00 on these jobs

you can also pre -ord parts if cust states fridge door seal torn etc ..

very good computer system , where you can track everything about job parts orders , day booked etc ..online diary

    Re: british gas

things must be getting bad ,
second hand parts now being fitted
went to call last friday to repair f/f..

guy says eng turned up had a quick look and advised to call manu as their is a recall on model..

cust called to cancel policy as he expected them to repair as his policy is with them , nice call center staff said yes he was correct his policiy is with them and they would repair any defects but manu would still need to attend to recall issue

anyway guy tells me eng returned and fitted a couple of sensors and cover assy stated that cover assy wasused but upgraded

i said i better have a look at this upgraded part, turns out it was a old part god knows where he got it ..maybe lying about in his van, but defenitley second hand used ..

i asked cust if he was sure this wasnt his old part , he says no eng left his orig part in garage and its still there…

dont know if this was a decision eng made himself but fitting used parts onto an appliance with safety issues sounds a bit reckless ,
