    yeh eh …

    what he said ! .

also if we have to sell cheap rubbish due to demand manufacturers- sheds should be made to offer at least 5 year warrantys – and guarantee there is a service network to look after the appliance …

maybe if the goverment forced them to pay a decent repair rate – they would stop selling crap ,

ohhh wait a minute thats my alarm clock going off

oh well back to sleep …

thats intresting the prices that you termninated at alex ? …

It is right. We Service Force agents terminated at £37.20 for electric & £55 gas, plus a 5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} patrs mark-up.

that seemed like a not to bad fee considering all things … who was offering this and when ???

    Re: DSG/RepairCare Rate Cuts

so why were they their …

was it an ego trip – facing their angry agents ?

was it to see if their was a revolt brewing ?

did they think by showing up they somehow gained sympathy and understanding ?

personaly i cant understand , a perfect opertunity to explain the situ .
maybe they thought spin just wouldnt cut it with some of the industry,s biggest hitters in the room

    Re: What charge for entertainment?

    thats a cracker …

i was very chuffed one time as i had managed to put a new drum back plate in very quicky …

when i opened the door the was a very big gap between door seal and drum – say roughly about 2 inch .. ( cant remember what wm it was but it was one you could put a shorter drum in)

anyway i advised customer it a new anti clothes rip drum ?..

dont know how you got away with no drum …

sad to hear that, we used to deal with them ,

think it changed hands a few years back , or was handed down to family ???..

think they farmed their service work out to co in motherwell ??

    Re: contracts

sorry mate , they are no longer in buis used to run servis network ..

i was kinda meaning you wont earn anything form jtm – just headache – and stress on a new level …

but each to their own , their are agents on here who make money of jtm , and plenty who wouldnt touch them ..

personally we had a night mare with them .. we always seemed to have a parts balance bigger than any labour we invoiced for …

this was due to ordering a pcb and motor for say a haire wm..
motor would arrive say about 15th month … parts inv due at the end ..
    motor £111.00 ..

pcb would take about another 8 weeks to arrive .. so weve now paid for £111.00 motor ..roughly about 3 labour fees ..

pcb arrives £100, customer since got excahnge – nobody bothers to inform you..

another £100 quid comes of you acount ..

so by this time jtm have debited you with about £211 …lets say about 8 labour fees … so you have ran about doing 8 jobs for nothing ..

then theirs the whole different nightmare of getting a credit …for the spares you no longer require ..

now if this was happening every other job – which it will cos you mostly dealing with lost end cr&&&p haire etc you can see quite quickly where it will lead ….

thousands of pounds tied up in spare account .. and you playing catch up ..

we had i full time staff member dealing with jtm – stil couldnt make it work ..

thats just my take on it … we gave it a go as quinto from servis moved to them and asked us if we were intrested ,we used to deal with him @ servis and he was good to deal with ..

as i said there agents on ukw who will have good things to say ,

my advice to you is try it for a couple of months .. see where it goes

please let u know the outcome ??
