WELL THIS SOUNDS LIKE THE SAME GUY THATS BEEN PHONING ME EVAN ON A SUNDAY AND IS ABOUT 200 MILES AWAY.
I DONT SUPPLY ISE APPLIANCES YET!
I RESANTLY TOOK A MONTHLY ADVERTISING CAMPAIN OUT IN THE CARMARTHEN JORNAL.
WITH THE RECYCLEING LOGO SAYING IT DOESEN”T COST THE EARTH TO REPAIR YOUR APPLIANCE.
HE WANTED TO KNOW THE FULL SPEC OF EVERY APPLIANCE THAT IS MADE BUT WAS VERY KEEN ON THE ISE.10 TIMES HE PHONED ME.
I PHONED MY LOCAL PAPER AND THAY SAID IT IS AVAILABLE AS FAR AS NEWTOWN AND CHESTER.
IN THE END I TOLD HIM TO CALL AND VIEW ONE .HE NEVER PHONED BACK AFTER THAT. :rolls: IT SOUNDS LIKE THE SAME GUY :rolls:garn

i know martin
its difficult to get them to part with there hpt 9934
there appliances are in excellent condition.
i change the bearings every 7 years and the odd backplate
tightening down all those bolts these days is a hell of a job im 50 the customer is about 90 and nothing is giving up due to constant boiling water.
iv got one customer who resulted in topping a service washing machine up with hot water because the programs are taking to long to wash.
they got rid of it and bought a wm63 of me. 😆
thank s for the input ukwg is a godsend 😀

Chris.
thanks for the reply iv been telling them this .
the trouble is a lot of my customers have been ripping there oil boilers out. and gone back to coal because of the cost on fuel I’m going to change myself i spent £1200 over the past year on oil. calor gas in a tank could be as much as £2800 a year to run.
and I’m inundated with calls for these appliances 😮
if the recession keeps up we will end up making our own quality steel again and digging our own coal again.

iadom wrote:Methinks you are getting a little confused Garn. This machine is a TDC not a CTD.
The TDC does not have a pump, the CTD does not have the green spot stats or a dryness module.
The bearings are less likely to fail as the TDC has proper jockey pulleys and does not need a full V4 repair kit if the rear bearing does fail.
Jim. soz mate i think i have snow blindness to yearly in the morning 4me.anotherday off its belting down hear

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint TDC60 tumble dryer puts out no heat
been out and done a few of these recently
green spot stat gone dryness module buzzing clicking
done the job had a call back 4months later green stat gone again.
module OK.
i would recommend inspection of the float & pump chambers especially if the appliance is up to 3to4 years old the chamber may need cleaning
bit of a job while your at it check the bearings as well it may be worth putting a v4kit on it the same time
and delint the appliance hence it be OK for another to yearsgarn
ParticipantRe: Bearing Shell Removal Tool – Now Available
over the past 38years iv had to make my own special tools or adapt others.
remember the old hpt drum locking tool
one wrong move and your skin is in pieces”
iv made few of these over time and supplied them to several brother engineers 🙂
this one saves your skin and bending round the drum to hold it. also adapts to10mm punch with a 2lb hammer strike .
those bearings come flying out even knock the race out if its stuck.

hi
just this week iv been out looking at some hydraulic press
for bearing removal what iv seen is to narrow to to get the drums in line.
looking at it these preses are usually used for motor car hub bearings
it could certainly be adapted. if one of these have been designed and made? it would be great.
iv have been thinking of purchasing a 18v cordless impact driver seen it working to do the job” especially with the wma bearing tool 2edition
to many bits with it
mind you this new one looks value for moneygarn
