The dishwasher looks like a Bosch/Neff, however the service of Gorenje has long left the BSH fold.

    Hi
Sounds like “Child Lock” having been activated 😀
Press the “Quick Wash” and the “Anti Crease” buttons together for 3 seconds to de-activate.
Assuming its the same machine as the OP’s 😉

    Hi
Sounds like a clogged or faulty “Water Indicator”.
This is the round unit below the filters at the 3’oclock position.
It can get clogged with food debris etc and is best cleaned gently with a toothbrush so as not to perforate the membrane behind thus rendering it useless.

    The diagram looks daunting, granted.
I would consider an engineer in that case, the job should take him or her around an hour 😀

The part you require is 497684 around the £30 + the usual, available form spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk.
Its quite an intensive strip down IMHO, but neverthless quite do-able to anyone with a bit of know how.
Power off if you are to attempt or follow the link below for one of our engineers 🙂

    Hi
If you hadn’t have run it you could have syphoned it out with no problem. Then just flushed it through with a water and dishwasher salt mix.
Now you have run it you have allowed the detergent to enter the water softner media which will now be irrepairably damaged, sorry.
The only way forward now is to replace the complete water softner unit.
If you can supply the complete model number off the machine then we can give you an idea of cost.

    Hi
Sometime you don’t get the continuous flashes for NTC fault, you may find it just won’t heat 😕 even though NTC/feeler may read ok 😯

    Hi
Are the carbon sensors touching the drum after re-alignment? and do they have continuity back to PCB ?
Also, are you testing the appliance with a normal damp load? because if you aren’t then it will only run for a very short period as it thinks the load is dry.
There is also an over temp stat on top of heater which is re-settable.
    Check your email aswell 😉
