Hi
Take your time, all done from rear. Not a bad job, just make sure you protect your floor underneath motor incase it drops when you removing. 😉Greg

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFR2860GB / 01 FD 8105 7 00144 – Replacing Brushe
Hi
Brushes far easier to change with motor off appliance.
When new they should be approx 1.5 inches in length as a guide when you remove the old ones.
This noise you mention, if you turn the drum by hand can you hear a clicking noise or is it smooth and raspy?Brush p/no if required is 154740 and these are spring loaded and can be quite tricky to get back in 🙂 Make sure you have them the correct way round as they are tapered. A quick way is to offer each brush in turn down its travel, then turn the motor spindle, it should be smooth not grating and noisey.
Power off when you attempt the above :plug:Greg

Possibly, but the machine does have OB control to combat that.

Hi
It may attempt a spin, even if all the water hasn’t been removed due to a slight blockage is what P45 meant. 😀 , making it quite violent in its attempt. What I would suspect is either worn motor brushes or worn suspension legs. Both are changeable but the suspension legs can be quite tricky.
Start with motor brushes first, they should be approx 1.5 inches in length when inspected off the motor.
Un plug appliance if you are to attempt any of the above :plug:Greg

Hi
May I just point out a couple of things at this juncture.

Safety first especially with any gas appliances :lesson: and yes I do appreciate that you are attempting to work on the electrical side, but Ive seen it so many times where the gas pipework has been disturbed and caused a risk ❗

FFS a nut allergy, as serious as it is does not justify having a sense of humour failure.
Where do these freaks pop up from?
Obscure trolls that have to disect and inject their feelings.
As for losing business, I think not, unless we are merging with KP 😆
Did he not get the “Nuts” to mean mad people :rolls: and not the edible variety. Get a fucking life :rolls:
